Brenda Harrison ~ Floater & 2’s PM Teacher
My name is Brenda and I am a native of Tucson, Arizona. I come from a big family of eight children and I’m a twin. I do not have children I am a great aunt with fifty nephews and nieces. In my spare time I enjoy reading, going to the movies, and traveling. I graduated from Tucson High School and attended Central Arizona College and received Childcare Development Associate. As long as I can remember I have always been passionate about children. I have been working with children for over twenty-five years, and I honestly enjoy their curiosity, sense of amazement, and unbiased nature. I have been working at Catalina Methodist Day School since September 2011 and I am very fortunate to be working in a nurturing and cooperative environment. My philosophy through the years is to assist children through “teachable moments”. Teachable moments can consist of playing, dancing, or participating in art activities. Learning is a two-way relationship. I learn from children, parents and my fellow colleagues. Being early childcare is who I am and it is my passion in life!
