Ms. Jennifer “Jen”  ~ Assistant Director & Summer Camp Coordinator

My name is Jen and I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. I moved to Tucson in 2007 from Newton, Connecticut.  I have been working at Catalina Methodist Day School since May 2013 as the afternoon Pre-K teacher. During the summer of 2015, I was given the opportunity to coordinate the summer camp program for school-age children.  I was excited to implement some new ideas and educational aspects to the curriculum. During the summer we learn about a different country each week and how each culture differs from ours. During the regular school year, in the morning I float between classrooms to give teachers a break and to spend time with the children while in the afternoon, I work at the front desk assisting our director, my fellow teachers, and making parents and children feel welcome!  I love being able to help my fellow teachers achieve what they want to in their classrooms and getting to know all our students! I am graduated at Grand Canyon University with B.S. in Behavioral Health Science with an Emphasis in Childhood and Adolescence Disorders.
